SAFETY & HEALTH MARKING

The marking requirements are defined in the official Gazette 67/A/10-04-1995,

containing the Presidential Decree 105/1995 entitled,

«Minimum requirements for safety and/or health marking at work in accordance

with Directive 92/58/EEC.

1. The PD sets the minimum standards for safety and/or health marking at work. Its provisions apply to all enterprises, holdings and operations of the private and public sector regardless of the branch of economic activity in which they are classified.
2. Notes:

2.a The application of the provisions is imposed in addition to the general provisions

on occupational health and safety that apply at any given time.

2.b The provisions of the PD cover:

• The general rules for the occasional and permanent marking of countries and points of countries and points of professional activity in general.
• The obligations of companies in terms of relevant training and information  of employees

3. Safety and health signs are divided into four main categories based on the colour and the basic shape of the sign as follows:

3.1.a  The prohibitory signs (round) and

3.1.b The plates relating to the fire – fighting equipment or the general equipment,

sqare or rectangular with the coding colour red.

3.2  The rescue or relief signs , sqare or rectangular, in color coding green.

3.3  The warning signs and imposed precautions meters (triangles) with coding color yellow

3.4  Obligation signs for specific action or behavior and the obligation to use personal

safety equipment. They are round with coding colour blue.

4.The signs of the plates individually, in combination with plates (e.g. yellow and green),

with or without text, or even with only text and color coding are made according

to customer’s specifications regarding

4.3  The material selected by a digitally printed sticker film,

on a foil base to which eather the said mambrane,

or any combination of the reflective membranes

and/or transparent screen printing inks.
